Astley Bridge Cricket Club is a not-for-profit community-based cricket club in the heart of Astley Bridge. We will soon be celebrating our centenary and our values of supporting those within the community are more important than ever.
We field 6 Junior Teams and 3 Senior Teams and support people within the community throughout the year with several of our programmes.
Our location means that our surrounding catchment area is one of deprivation for young children, often providing the only opportunity to play the sport they love in a safe environment with a community that can help them thrive instead of merely surviving.
We also support community groups such as a Runners Club, Angling Society, Slimming World, Dance Groups, Bikers Club, Rotary Club, Choir, Hockey Club, and Church Communities, alongside our Function Room for celebratory occasions.
Over the years sponsorship has been key to our growth and our sponsors have also grown with the exposure that we provide.
